You will learn to defuse stress-triggered behaviors - such as defensiveness, excessive mistakes, avoidance and sacrificing personal activities - with leading cognitive and behavioral strategies. Includes: Animated case study, personalize and life practice segments, and guided mindfulness exercise.
Stress-Triggered Physical Responses
Integrating the levels of awareness, you learn to apply evidence-based cognitive and physical strategies to stress-triggered physical responses - such as excess substance use, skipping workouts, poor sleep and diet. Features case study, the "Monsters on the Bus" metaphor and a mindfulness exercise.
A Different Lens
Going forward, you have a Resilience Toolbox that you can use in the face of stressors at work and home. Improved psychological resilience is associated with many cognitive, behavioral and physical benefits and reduced burnout. You will be better able to model more resilient responses with others.
Gave me the impetus to restructure my work!
"I have been doing lots of the mindfulness exercises - they really help! The programme has given me the impetus to restructure my work through identifying the main stress trigger situations and minimising them, so I’m less exposed to them in my daily practice, and at least when I have to face them, I am more prepared & resilient to deal with them.T hanks for all your help!"
StressPal has had a tangible impact
"StressPal has had a tangible and even measurable positive impact on my abilities to cope and not be mired in emotions. I have shared the program with colleagues at the height of emotional overload, overwork, fright and burnout. StressPal does a beautiful job of addressing our troubles by first making use feel heard and known, and then with definitive actions we can take to manage our stressors and improve our well-being, allowing us to continue to provide high quality care to our patients."
I have benefited greatly
"I am a healthcare professional. I am blown away at the emphasis on awareness. I am on my valued directions portion of the training. I am taking the training in between my meetings and it is easing my stress level. For weeks now I have benefited greatly in identifying, managing and creating new mindfulness skills through their program."
Absolutely loved the meditation modules
"The animated case studies are very realistic to my clinical experience as a physician. I absolutely loved the meditation modules and could have used more of those or more repetition of the same concepts for improved retention. Your voices are so soothing and calming and the message is wonderful. I also very much enjoyed the meditation visuals."
It is truly an innovative program
"I am a licensed psychologist, in practice since 1988. As a cognitive behavioral practitioner, I am very well versed in mindfulness practices acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and CBT. I found the program to be quite engaging. The information and techniques presented are scientifically based, state-of-the art and powerful. This program will be a very useful tool in training stress resilience and psychological flexibility."
"Overall, this is an outstanding program. I personally found it valuable and useful (will certainly be applying the principles). The navigation is easy. The pace is just right."
This is powerful medicine
"When I was given the chance to beta test the program, I was very pleased with the results. It was just the what I needed to begin mastering the skills of stress resilience. The storytelling was compelling, while the guided meditations and instructional segments really helped put the techniques to practical use. I can’t imagine there is anyone who couldn’t benefit from better stress resilience during this difficult and highly stressful time. This is truly powerful medicine."
I am so thankful for the StressPal experience.
"One of the most compelling parts of the program for me was the animated stories. The stressful situations and the response of the characters was immersive - I felt I was right there in the situation which heightened my ability to connect with my feelings and stress responses. I was able to consciously observe my automatic patterns and release my holding so tight. I am in a much better place than when I started the program and find myself naturally taking actions that support my emotional health."
